CemWeek 2010 India Cement Survey (free)

The CW Group / CemWeek survey conducted in May 2010, offers a window into the thinking of the sector as a whole at a point in time. In this report, we have summarized key survey findings in a way that allows readers to interpret data and commentary in the context of their own organizations.

At the company level, participants hailed from industry leaders and included: ACC, Aditya Birla, Ambuja, HeidelbergCement, Jaypee, JK Group, Lafarge, KHD Humbolt Wedag, FLSmidth and many others.

The CW Group believes this survey confirms that the Indian cement sector has survived the financial crisis and is on a positive long-term growth trajectory. Although the global financial crisis has raised uncertainty and clouds the near-term outlook, the fundamentals remain largely intact.
