Requirement for a UK Site Engineer / Surveyor (deputy to Civil / Structural Manager) to work as part of the Employer's Engineering team (site-based) for the management of civil / structural work. The Site Engineer will report to the Civil / Structural Manager (expat). In addition, there will be 4 No local Site Supervisors (Civil Engineers) responsible for areas across the Project.

The Employer's Engineering team are site based with a hands-on approach to delivery of the Project. We are seeking an experienced UK Site Engineer with a proven background in all areas of civil engineering contracting.

Specific requirements

  • Civil Engineering degree (BEng 2:1 min.) preferred, but other compatible qualification considered.
  • Minimum 10 years post-grad experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering projects.
  • Background must be in contracting from a reputable UK civil contractor
  • Experience in heavy civil and structural steel work essential.
  • International experience preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in GPS surveying advantageous
  • AutoCad proficient
  • Site language is English, but knowledge of Spanish useful.
  • Rotation 4 months ON 2 weeks OFF.

Salary paid offshore.

Minimum one year contract-extendable.
